London Harmony: Water Gypsy

The first London Harmony book is published!

On February 21, 2015 my eBook, London Harmony: Water Gypsy, was added at Amazon.com! As always, print on demand paperbacks are available as well!

London Harmony is a spinoff series of my bestselling romance series, Music of the Soul. It follows June Harris-West and her unorthodox family as they find musical talent in London. Handing out the J-Cards that have become an urban legend in the underground music community. Each book features the story of one of these amazing women.

This premiere book of the series, Water Gypsy, follows Tabitha Romanov as she discovers herself and love, on her journey into stardom.

---

Tabitha Romanov lives on the river Thames in the heart of London, on a rundown grain barge. She assures everyone in her life it is just a temporary situation. Music and fun drives her and her unique vocal style doesn't go unnoticed by the scouts of London Harmony when they run across her by chance at an underground rave. Tabitha fears she would be stuck with the dreaded Tabby Cat name.

Teresa McClellan is a consummately professional business woman who is the headmistress at a Music Conservatoire. Two complete opposites, oblivious of the other until Teresa catches Tabitha eavesdropping on classes in her school. Then instead of getting upset, she instead starts an unorthodox training regimen with a very confused Tabitha.

Sparks fly in many ways, Tabitha is torn between her attraction to the woman and hating her. Then when Teresa's true motives, Tabitha happily finds that everything is not as it had seemed. ---

The message behind this book is simply that we should love ourselves and the people around us, you never know when something in your life may change and take your dreams away. Acceptance of one's self and finding a new dream is important to finding true happiness.

Nobody has more amazing readers than I do! My MOTS fans have proven that they are behind the new series that has so much Music of the Soul flavor. In just hours after publishing, Water Gypsy hit the bestseller lists on Amazon and the numbers are skyrocketing.

Just because I can't help myself, I want all of my awesome readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept anti-gravity boots and cheese.
I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Water Gypsy. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

Accidental Date
Angela Sutter was waiting for her math tutor to arrive. When Kennedi shows up, misunderstandings snowball and Angela finds herself in a situation she never expected.

About Erik Schubach
I got my start writing romance novels by accident. I have always been drawn to strong female characters in books, like Honor Harrington. And I also believe that there is a lack of LGBT characters in media. So one day I came up with a story idea that combines the two... two days later I completed the manuscript for Music of the Soul.

My writing style may not be the most professional nor grammatically correct, but I never profess to be an English major, just a person that wants to share a story. I maintain that my primary language is sarcasm.

Each of my books features strong likeable female characters that are flawed. I think that flaws and emotional or physical scars make us human and give us more character than simply conforming to some "social norm".

The Bridge: Traitor

My second book in the Bridge series, Traitor, is published!

On January 23, 2015 my eBook, The Bridge: Traitor, was added at Amazon.com! As always, print on demand paperbacks are also available! I toiled all night to get the book published then collapsed into bed in exhaustion. I woke up to find that my awesome readers are beyond compare and the book is already ranked #11 on the bestseller list for Lesbian Fiction and climbing. You people are the best!

To stay with tradition, I'll say a bit about this book before I give a story overview. I was stunned by the overwhelmingly positive response to my take on modern day Trolls. People were asking for more about Troll Evangeline Kane, Custodian Sharee Krynn, and other favorite characters such as Felicia and Rupert. I didn't need much prodding before I started book two, Traitor.

This book is the second book to take place in the Bridge universe. It follows a modern day rebellious hero, Evangeline Kane, and the city's supernatural enforcer, the Custodian, Sharee Krynn, into the world of trolls and the Under-Veil once again, to stand against all that would do the mortal world harm.

---

In The Bridge: Traitor, it seems like the supernatural world in Cincinnati has gone crazy. So many disturbances in the fae community culminating with a missing Troll vex the sentinels of the city.

It is determined that there is a traitor amongst the ranks of the Trolls of the city and all of the evidence points to Evangeline Kane, Troll of the Roebling Suspension Bridge.

Evangeline must try to clear her name as she goes on the run from the guardians of the city and the mortal police, while Sharee Krynn, the Custodian investigates the case.

A division in the ranks of the sentinels puts them on the brink of a revolt. Time is running out for the city and Evangeline herself.

Old friends and new allies rise to the occasion and stand in defiance of the Triumvirate and support the hero of the Battle of the Roebling.

---

The message behind this book continues the message of the first, that when things are thrust upon us that we did not expect, it can bring out the best in us when we step up to do the right thing. Also, never underestimate someone because of their station, they have a way of rising to the occasion and surprising you.

I can't tell you how much I love my readers, I know that you are the best fans on this or any other planet. You were grabbing copies almost before I pressed "publish".

As I always do, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept sharks with laser beams.

There is a sneak peek chapter of the first book in my Music of the Soul spinoff series, London Harmony, at the end of the book. London Harmony: Water Gypsy follows a destitute woman in London as she discovers who she is, finds love, and becomes part of the London Harmony family with June, Vanessa, Fran, and Zilrita.

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in The Bridge: Traitor. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

Dead Shot

My thirteenth Music of the Soul book is published!

On December 18, 2014 my eBook, Dead Shot, was added at Amazon.com! As always, print on demand paperbacks are available as well!

Being the creature of habit I am, I'll first talk a little about this new book before I give you a story overview of it. This book will be more intense and violent than most of the other MOTS books as it is a military romance. McKenzie Meyers is soldier through and through. But I hope to point out the compassionate side of soldiers and some of the inconvenient truths about the things they must go through and still retain their humanity.

This book is the thirteenth book to take place in the Music of the Soul universe. My Baker's Dozen. Like the other books in the MOTS series, we find that it is a small world, and love can overcome the worst of tragedies.

---

In Dead Shot, we follow career soldier McKnezie Meyers during the years she is assigned to a United Nations Joint Peacekeeping Mission whose main thrust is to curb the dearth of human trafficking in Central Africa.

McKenzie has not been home in eighteen years but must go there to put her father's estate in order after his untimely death.

There she finds a person who seems to get her, and complete her soul. Katie, the intelligence and operations technician that sees after her fireteam when they are on scouting missions. A love grows that distance and tragedy cannot break.

---

The message behind this book is simply that no matter how we may view ourselves, others may see us in a different light... seeing the love and compassion we are capable of. Acceptance and forgiveness of one's self are the order of the day.

I think my readers are the most awesome readers out there! I'm also excited to share a preview of a special project I am working on. The first chapter of Red Hood: The Hunt, is at the end of the book. A dark modern retelling of the story of Red Riding Hood set in Seattle in a world overrun by werewolves.

As I always do, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept platypus slippers.

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Dead Shot. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

The Valkyrie Chronicles: Titans

My fifth Valkyrie Chronicles book is published!

On November 27, 2014 my eBook, Titans, was added at Amazon.com! As usual, print on demand paperbacks are available too! The release had been delayed a few days and people were breaking down the door to get their hands on this beauty.

Being the creature of habit that I am, I'll just start with saying a little bit about this new book before I give an overview of the storyline. I decided to look at a different dimension of Kara's strength in this one, with a what if this was something she couldn't fight with brute force.

This book is the fifth book written in the Valkyrie Chronicles universe. This book brings up the question... What if you couldn't stand up to an enemy using conventional means?

---

We know Kara, the Wild One, to be one of the most deadly brute force fighters in the galaxy. Her ability to stand toe to toe against vicious hordes bent on the destruction of Valhalla and the Asgard is legendary. That is until the Titans arrive.

The Asgard have never fought an enemy like this and Kara finds herself out of her depth against an enemy who won't face her on the field of battle.

She must instead, match wits and wills against the leader of the Titans while the rest of the Valkyrie race against time to rescue her.

The Titans quickly learn that there is more to this Valkyrie than an instrument of violence and destruction, and new friendships and awkward alliances are formed.

---

The message behind this book is simply that sometimes we must face things we are not prepared for. It is how we overcome these new obstacles that help to define us and build our character. Oh, and you don't mess with Kara. :)

Nobody has fans as awesome as mine, I am continually surprised by them. The second I submitted this new book on Amazon, copies were rolling out the door to my readers. Fast as lightning!

And as always, I just gotta let my readers know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept wind up sea otters.

At the end of the book is a sneak peek at the next Music of the Soul book, Dead Shot. I think this will set a different pace in the MOTS series.

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Titans. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

June

My twelfth Music of the Soul book is published!

On October 27, 2014 my eBook, June, was added at Amazon.com! Of course, print on demand paperbacks are also available! There was some odd delay on Amazon, that delayed the release by a day, but after submitting a trouble ticket they fixed things right up!

As I always do, I'll first say a bit about this new book before I give you a story overview. This book may not be what people were expecting for June. The unstoppable front that she projects is just a front to hide her insecurity. We get to see the real June that hides under that shell in the book. She has the witty internal dialogue of her mother Mandy and her sense of right from her other mother, Anabella.

This book is the twelfth book to take place in the Music of the Soul universe. (Has it really gone on for so long?) Like the other books in the MOTS series, we find that we cannot help who we are attracted to, and love can see past any obstacles.

---

In June, June decides that she wants to step out from behind the huge shadows of her famous parents and make a mark of her own on the world. To do this she realizes she has to put part of her dreams on hold, knowing she'll never be able to share her own music without people believing she is riding on Mandy Fay Harris' coattails. But she can still stay in the music industry by starting her own record label half a world away in London, England.

She leaves Seattle behind to hunt for a talent scout in New York for for her new label. The DJ in the underground music scene that she is looking for, has as many urban legends about him as her June's Eight group of friends has.

All of her plans are sidelined as June finds something she had never expected and learn more about herself while gathering new friends and unexpected relationships.

---

The message behind this book is simply that when you look beyond the surface and past any apparent problems with people, that love can just sneak upo on you. Acceptance is the flavor of the day and a person's affliction does not define them.

I simply love all of my readers, I'd pit you people against any other author's readers in a heartbeat. You put up with me as I struggled with the unexpected delay at Amazon and started snapping books up the moment the problems were resolved. I'm also excited to share the next book in the MOTS series with you soon, Dead Shot, featuring the soldier mentioned in most of the MOTS books, McKenzie Meyers! It will come out following the next book in the Valkyrie Chronicles series, Titans!

As always, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept egg shaped spaceships.

There is a sneak peek chapter of the fifth book in my Valkyrie Chronicles series, Titans, at the end of the book. Kara and the other Valkyrie must contend with the race of the Titans as they try to re-settle the planet Ragnarok.

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in June. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

The Bridge: Trolls

My first book in the Bridge series, Trolls, is published!

On September 20, 2014 my eBook, The Bridge: Trolls, was added at Amazon.com! As usual, print on demand paperbacks are also available! I can't tell you how much I appreciate my readers, copies were flying off the virtual shelves as soon as it went live!

As I always do, I'll say a little something about this new series before I give a story overview. I am always trying to find new and unexpected ways to twist familiar myths and legends into something fresh and unexpected. When I thought of paranormal stories, I realized that vampires and werewolves are flooding the bookstores, way past the saturation point. I thought to myself, "Hey self, what can we do that is different and unique?" The first thing that popped into my head was, what if bridge trolls were not what we all believed?

This book is the first book to take place in the Bridge universe. It follows a modern day reluctant hero, Evangeline Kane, and the city's supernatural enforcer, the Custodian, Sharee Krynn, into the world of trolls and the Under-Veil.

---

In The Bridge: Trolls, Evangeline Kane finds herself teetering on the edge of madness when she starts seeing the monsters she has only seen as shadows, walking the streets of Cincinnati. It happens after a man dies in her arms on the Roebling Suspension Bridge.

She learns that against her wishes she is now the Troll of the bridge, one of the city's protectors, and bound to the bridge.

Along with some fae that she befriends and the enforcer of the city, the Custodian, Sharee Krynn. Together they must prepare Kane to defend the city against malevolent fae bent on destruction and corruption of the mortals who live in the city.

Somewhere along the way, Evangeline finds herself falling for the Custodian, who is feared by all in the supernatural world hiding within Cincinnati. Evangeline learns to love the bridge and the city and pits herself against creatures with ill intent with no regard for her own safety and finds herself living with purpose for the first time in her life.

---

The message behind this book is simply that when things are thrust upon us that we did not expect, it can bring out the best in us when we step up to do the right thing.

I super platypus heart my readers, I know that you are the best readers that any author can ask for. You were snagging copies before I finished pressing the publish button.

As I always do, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept mechanical chipmunks.

There is a sneak peek chapter of the twelfth book in my Music of the Soul series, June, at the end of the book. June is ready to step out of the shadow of her parents and take London by storm.

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in The Bridge: Trolls. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

Lightning Strikes Twice

My eleventh Music of the Soul book is published!

On August 18, 2014 my eBook, Lightning Strikes Twice, was added at Amazon.com! Of course, print on demand paperbacks are also available! Copies of Lightning Strikes Twice were selling before I could even start creating this post... You people are beyond the best!

Following tradition, I'll say a little bit about this new book before I give a story overview. This was possibly the hardest book I have ever written. Not only did it have to flow seamlessly between four other Music of the Soul storylines, but it was a continuation of the story of my most popular character, Victoria Davenport. Since this book occurs 20 years after A Deafening Whisper, I had to balance Vicky's quirkiness with the new maturity of the character. I hope I succeeded for my readers.

This book is the eleventh book to take place in the Music of the Soul universe. Like the other books in the MOTS series, we find that what people believe is normal relationship does not apply here, and that soulmates are sometimes blind to what everyone around them sees as obvious.

---

In Lightning Strikes Twice, twenty years after leaving Seattle and her best friends behind, Victoria Davenport is finally done with running and returns home from London.

She hoped she could gain a sense of closures and come to peace with herself over her unrequited love for Mia Jacobs, only to find that the fire in her heart still burs as brightly as the day she ran.

Everyone around them sees the attraction and love they have for each other but are afraid to act upon, fearing they would feel guilt and a sense of betraying Mia's long dead wife and Victoria's second love. In the end it comes down to the simple fact that we must fight for love.

---

The message behind this book is simply that love is love, and even after the death of someone you love, your heart can always make room for someone else. Not replacing your loved one, but opening your heart to something different and new.

I love my readers, I maintain that you are the best readers in the universe. You were grabbing copies before the ink was dry. I'm also excited to share the next book in the MOTS series with you soon, June, featuring none other than June herself as she says goodbye to Seattle and hello to the most unexpected chapter of her life. It will come out following the next book in the premier of the two new series The Bridge, and Djinn.

As always, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept platypus igloos.

There is a sneak peek chapter of the first book in my The Bridge series, Trolls, at the end of the book. Evangiline is a reluctant hero who must defend the suspension bridge into her city from supernatural forces by becoming the troll of the bridge.

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Lightning Strikes twice. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

Drakon: Dragonfall

My second book in the Drakon series, Dragonfall, is published!

On July 20, 2014 my new eBook, Drakon: Dragonfall, was published at Amazon.com! Of course print on demand paperbacks are live as well! I heard from some excited fans of the fiery Myra that they were grabbing the book as soon as it went live!

As always, I'll start by saying a little bit about this new book before I give an quick overview of the story itself. Once again, the main character in this book and her mate and protector are taken on a turbulent ride into a paranormal world of magic, elementals, and dragons. I like saying that, "and dragons"!

This book is the second book to take place in the Drakon universe. Continuing the twist on the legends of dragons that have popped up around the world. It is the continuing story of Myra O'Connell after she discovered she was a dragon of old, and the life she and the agent assigned to protect her now lead.

---

In Drakon: Dragonfall we follow Doctor Myra Myra O'Connell as she and the woman she loves, Agent Quinn Trask of the FBI investigate the mysterious murders of the dragons of Denver.

While Quinn and her task-force follow their leads, Myra and her research group search for clues in an ancient scroll describing a similar string of dragon murders that happened back in the second century. Could they be related?

Myra must face her paralyzing fears and bring her dragon form to bear against evil incarnate. The fate of her dragons and the people of Earth lie in the balance.

Oh, and did I mention... Merlin?

---

The romance is a gentle undercurrent to this exciting paranormal tale. I hope you enjoy delving into folklore and fantasy as we follow the adventures of Myra, Queen of the Dragons.

No other author has readers as spectacular as mine, I can't put into words just how awesome they are to me. As soon as I published this book, it started selling. I am excited to share the next book in the Drakon series, Shadows in a few months.

And as always, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept ice cream sandwiches.

There is a sneak peek chapter of the eleventh book in my Music of the Soul series, Lightning Strikes Twice, at the end of the book. We finally get the story of what happens with Mia and Vicky at the end of A Deafening Whisper!

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Drakon: Dragonfall. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

Girl Next Door

My tenth Music of the Soul book is published!

On June 18, 2014 my eBook, Girl Next Door, was added at Amazon.com! As per usual, print on demand paperbacks are also available! Before I could even write this blog post, Girl Next Door has soared to number four on the bestseller list for lesbian romance on Amazon... Just how friggin' awesome are my readers?

As I always do, first I'll say a little about this new book before I give an overview of the story. The main characters in this emotional romance are strong women who, like all of us have internal fears that make them hold back and not share thier thoughts and emotions as freely as they would like. This inevitably will cause a friction where none should exist.

This book is the tenth book to take place in the Music of the Soul universe. I had to take a step back when I realized that, ten, I never thought the series would persevere this long but it is still going strong. Like the other books in the MOTS series, we find that what people believe is normal does not apply and that soulmates have this funny way of finding each other.

---

In Girl Next Door, we get to see the story of one of Penny Franklin's twin daughters, Brandye, and her next door neighbor, Robin, the blind artist we saw in Progeny.

We get to watch as these two are drawn together to become the best of friends. They become such a part of each others lives that neither even realizes that it is beyond friendship. Eveyone around them know that the two women were destined to be together. But between, Branye's view that every relationship is doomed to fail, and Robin's internal insecurity, they can never acknowledge it to each other.

Over the years they grow even closer together, but will their insecurities and Brandye's secret project tear the two apart?

---

The message behind this book is simply that there is someone out there for everyone, sometimes they are standing right in front of you and you don't even realize it. Plus, just like in Progeny, the other message is that you can't find a better friend than June Harris-West!

The cadence of this book was much different than my other MOTS books. It took years for the flame to ignite as the romance was on a slow simmer for three years. But Brandye's overture of love in the end took Robin, and the world by surprise.

I love my awesome readers, they were snapping up copies before I had time to post about it. I'm also excited to share the next book in the MOTS series with you soon, June, featuring none other than June herself as she says goodbye to Seattle and hello to the most unexpected chapter of her life. It will come out following the next book in the Drakon series, Dragonfall.

As I always do, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept cornbread and chili.

There is a sneak peek chapter of the second book in my Drakon series, Dragonfall, at the end of the book. I can't wait to share the next adventure of that fiery redheaded Irish woman, Myra, and her staunch protector Quinn!

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Girl Next Door. I'd love to discuss the story with you!
