Dead Shot

My thirteenth Music of the Soul book is published!

On December 18, 2014 my eBook, Dead Shot, was added at Amazon.com! As always, print on demand paperbacks are available as well!

Being the creature of habit I am, I'll first talk a little about this new book before I give you a story overview of it. This book will be more intense and violent than most of the other MOTS books as it is a military romance. McKenzie Meyers is soldier through and through. But I hope to point out the compassionate side of soldiers and some of the inconvenient truths about the things they must go through and still retain their humanity.

This book is the thirteenth book to take place in the Music of the Soul universe. My Baker's Dozen. Like the other books in the MOTS series, we find that it is a small world, and love can overcome the worst of tragedies.

---

In Dead Shot, we follow career soldier McKnezie Meyers during the years she is assigned to a United Nations Joint Peacekeeping Mission whose main thrust is to curb the dearth of human trafficking in Central Africa.

McKenzie has not been home in eighteen years but must go there to put her father's estate in order after his untimely death.

There she finds a person who seems to get her, and complete her soul. Katie, the intelligence and operations technician that sees after her fireteam when they are on scouting missions. A love grows that distance and tragedy cannot break.

---

The message behind this book is simply that no matter how we may view ourselves, others may see us in a different light... seeing the love and compassion we are capable of. Acceptance and forgiveness of one's self are the order of the day.

I think my readers are the most awesome readers out there! I'm also excited to share a preview of a special project I am working on. The first chapter of Red Hood: The Hunt, is at the end of the book. A dark modern retelling of the story of Red Riding Hood set in Seattle in a world overrun by werewolves.

As I always do, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept platypus slippers.

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Dead Shot. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

The Valkyrie Chronicles: Titans

My fifth Valkyrie Chronicles book is published!

On November 27, 2014 my eBook, Titans, was added at Amazon.com! As usual, print on demand paperbacks are available too! The release had been delayed a few days and people were breaking down the door to get their hands on this beauty.

Being the creature of habit that I am, I'll just start with saying a little bit about this new book before I give an overview of the storyline. I decided to look at a different dimension of Kara's strength in this one, with a what if this was something she couldn't fight with brute force.

This book is the fifth book written in the Valkyrie Chronicles universe. This book brings up the question... What if you couldn't stand up to an enemy using conventional means?

---

We know Kara, the Wild One, to be one of the most deadly brute force fighters in the galaxy. Her ability to stand toe to toe against vicious hordes bent on the destruction of Valhalla and the Asgard is legendary. That is until the Titans arrive.

The Asgard have never fought an enemy like this and Kara finds herself out of her depth against an enemy who won't face her on the field of battle.

She must instead, match wits and wills against the leader of the Titans while the rest of the Valkyrie race against time to rescue her.

The Titans quickly learn that there is more to this Valkyrie than an instrument of violence and destruction, and new friendships and awkward alliances are formed.

---

The message behind this book is simply that sometimes we must face things we are not prepared for. It is how we overcome these new obstacles that help to define us and build our character. Oh, and you don't mess with Kara. :)

Nobody has fans as awesome as mine, I am continually surprised by them. The second I submitted this new book on Amazon, copies were rolling out the door to my readers. Fast as lightning!

And as always, I just gotta let my readers know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept wind up sea otters.

At the end of the book is a sneak peek at the next Music of the Soul book, Dead Shot. I think this will set a different pace in the MOTS series.

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Titans. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

June

My twelfth Music of the Soul book is published!

On October 27, 2014 my eBook, June, was added at Amazon.com! Of course, print on demand paperbacks are also available! There was some odd delay on Amazon, that delayed the release by a day, but after submitting a trouble ticket they fixed things right up!

As I always do, I'll first say a bit about this new book before I give you a story overview. This book may not be what people were expecting for June. The unstoppable front that she projects is just a front to hide her insecurity. We get to see the real June that hides under that shell in the book. She has the witty internal dialogue of her mother Mandy and her sense of right from her other mother, Anabella.

This book is the twelfth book to take place in the Music of the Soul universe. (Has it really gone on for so long?) Like the other books in the MOTS series, we find that we cannot help who we are attracted to, and love can see past any obstacles.

---

In June, June decides that she wants to step out from behind the huge shadows of her famous parents and make a mark of her own on the world. To do this she realizes she has to put part of her dreams on hold, knowing she'll never be able to share her own music without people believing she is riding on Mandy Fay Harris' coattails. But she can still stay in the music industry by starting her own record label half a world away in London, England.

She leaves Seattle behind to hunt for a talent scout in New York for for her new label. The DJ in the underground music scene that she is looking for, has as many urban legends about him as her June's Eight group of friends has.

All of her plans are sidelined as June finds something she had never expected and learn more about herself while gathering new friends and unexpected relationships.

---

The message behind this book is simply that when you look beyond the surface and past any apparent problems with people, that love can just sneak upo on you. Acceptance is the flavor of the day and a person's affliction does not define them.

I simply love all of my readers, I'd pit you people against any other author's readers in a heartbeat. You put up with me as I struggled with the unexpected delay at Amazon and started snapping books up the moment the problems were resolved. I'm also excited to share the next book in the MOTS series with you soon, Dead Shot, featuring the soldier mentioned in most of the MOTS books, McKenzie Meyers! It will come out following the next book in the Valkyrie Chronicles series, Titans!

As always, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept egg shaped spaceships.

There is a sneak peek chapter of the fifth book in my Valkyrie Chronicles series, Titans, at the end of the book. Kara and the other Valkyrie must contend with the race of the Titans as they try to re-settle the planet Ragnarok.

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in June. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

The Bridge: Trolls

My first book in the Bridge series, Trolls, is published!

On September 20, 2014 my eBook, The Bridge: Trolls, was added at Amazon.com! As usual, print on demand paperbacks are also available! I can't tell you how much I appreciate my readers, copies were flying off the virtual shelves as soon as it went live!

As I always do, I'll say a little something about this new series before I give a story overview. I am always trying to find new and unexpected ways to twist familiar myths and legends into something fresh and unexpected. When I thought of paranormal stories, I realized that vampires and werewolves are flooding the bookstores, way past the saturation point. I thought to myself, "Hey self, what can we do that is different and unique?" The first thing that popped into my head was, what if bridge trolls were not what we all believed?

This book is the first book to take place in the Bridge universe. It follows a modern day reluctant hero, Evangeline Kane, and the city's supernatural enforcer, the Custodian, Sharee Krynn, into the world of trolls and the Under-Veil.

---

In The Bridge: Trolls, Evangeline Kane finds herself teetering on the edge of madness when she starts seeing the monsters she has only seen as shadows, walking the streets of Cincinnati. It happens after a man dies in her arms on the Roebling Suspension Bridge.

She learns that against her wishes she is now the Troll of the bridge, one of the city's protectors, and bound to the bridge.

Along with some fae that she befriends and the enforcer of the city, the Custodian, Sharee Krynn. Together they must prepare Kane to defend the city against malevolent fae bent on destruction and corruption of the mortals who live in the city.

Somewhere along the way, Evangeline finds herself falling for the Custodian, who is feared by all in the supernatural world hiding within Cincinnati. Evangeline learns to love the bridge and the city and pits herself against creatures with ill intent with no regard for her own safety and finds herself living with purpose for the first time in her life.

---

The message behind this book is simply that when things are thrust upon us that we did not expect, it can bring out the best in us when we step up to do the right thing.

I super platypus heart my readers, I know that you are the best readers that any author can ask for. You were snagging copies before I finished pressing the publish button.

As I always do, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept mechanical chipmunks.

There is a sneak peek chapter of the twelfth book in my Music of the Soul series, June, at the end of the book. June is ready to step out of the shadow of her parents and take London by storm.

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in The Bridge: Trolls. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

Lightning Strikes Twice

My eleventh Music of the Soul book is published!

On August 18, 2014 my eBook, Lightning Strikes Twice, was added at Amazon.com! Of course, print on demand paperbacks are also available! Copies of Lightning Strikes Twice were selling before I could even start creating this post... You people are beyond the best!

Following tradition, I'll say a little bit about this new book before I give a story overview. This was possibly the hardest book I have ever written. Not only did it have to flow seamlessly between four other Music of the Soul storylines, but it was a continuation of the story of my most popular character, Victoria Davenport. Since this book occurs 20 years after A Deafening Whisper, I had to balance Vicky's quirkiness with the new maturity of the character. I hope I succeeded for my readers.

This book is the eleventh book to take place in the Music of the Soul universe. Like the other books in the MOTS series, we find that what people believe is normal relationship does not apply here, and that soulmates are sometimes blind to what everyone around them sees as obvious.

---

In Lightning Strikes Twice, twenty years after leaving Seattle and her best friends behind, Victoria Davenport is finally done with running and returns home from London.

She hoped she could gain a sense of closures and come to peace with herself over her unrequited love for Mia Jacobs, only to find that the fire in her heart still burs as brightly as the day she ran.

Everyone around them sees the attraction and love they have for each other but are afraid to act upon, fearing they would feel guilt and a sense of betraying Mia's long dead wife and Victoria's second love. In the end it comes down to the simple fact that we must fight for love.

---

The message behind this book is simply that love is love, and even after the death of someone you love, your heart can always make room for someone else. Not replacing your loved one, but opening your heart to something different and new.

I love my readers, I maintain that you are the best readers in the universe. You were grabbing copies before the ink was dry. I'm also excited to share the next book in the MOTS series with you soon, June, featuring none other than June herself as she says goodbye to Seattle and hello to the most unexpected chapter of her life. It will come out following the next book in the premier of the two new series The Bridge, and Djinn.

As always, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept platypus igloos.

There is a sneak peek chapter of the first book in my The Bridge series, Trolls, at the end of the book. Evangiline is a reluctant hero who must defend the suspension bridge into her city from supernatural forces by becoming the troll of the bridge.

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Lightning Strikes twice. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

Drakon: Dragonfall

My second book in the Drakon series, Dragonfall, is published!

On July 20, 2014 my new eBook, Drakon: Dragonfall, was published at Amazon.com! Of course print on demand paperbacks are live as well! I heard from some excited fans of the fiery Myra that they were grabbing the book as soon as it went live!

As always, I'll start by saying a little bit about this new book before I give an quick overview of the story itself. Once again, the main character in this book and her mate and protector are taken on a turbulent ride into a paranormal world of magic, elementals, and dragons. I like saying that, "and dragons"!

This book is the second book to take place in the Drakon universe. Continuing the twist on the legends of dragons that have popped up around the world. It is the continuing story of Myra O'Connell after she discovered she was a dragon of old, and the life she and the agent assigned to protect her now lead.

---

In Drakon: Dragonfall we follow Doctor Myra Myra O'Connell as she and the woman she loves, Agent Quinn Trask of the FBI investigate the mysterious murders of the dragons of Denver.

While Quinn and her task-force follow their leads, Myra and her research group search for clues in an ancient scroll describing a similar string of dragon murders that happened back in the second century. Could they be related?

Myra must face her paralyzing fears and bring her dragon form to bear against evil incarnate. The fate of her dragons and the people of Earth lie in the balance.

Oh, and did I mention... Merlin?

---

The romance is a gentle undercurrent to this exciting paranormal tale. I hope you enjoy delving into folklore and fantasy as we follow the adventures of Myra, Queen of the Dragons.

No other author has readers as spectacular as mine, I can't put into words just how awesome they are to me. As soon as I published this book, it started selling. I am excited to share the next book in the Drakon series, Shadows in a few months.

And as always, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept ice cream sandwiches.

There is a sneak peek chapter of the eleventh book in my Music of the Soul series, Lightning Strikes Twice, at the end of the book. We finally get the story of what happens with Mia and Vicky at the end of A Deafening Whisper!

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Drakon: Dragonfall. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

Girl Next Door

My tenth Music of the Soul book is published!

On June 18, 2014 my eBook, Girl Next Door, was added at Amazon.com! As per usual, print on demand paperbacks are also available! Before I could even write this blog post, Girl Next Door has soared to number four on the bestseller list for lesbian romance on Amazon... Just how friggin' awesome are my readers?

As I always do, first I'll say a little about this new book before I give an overview of the story. The main characters in this emotional romance are strong women who, like all of us have internal fears that make them hold back and not share thier thoughts and emotions as freely as they would like. This inevitably will cause a friction where none should exist.

This book is the tenth book to take place in the Music of the Soul universe. I had to take a step back when I realized that, ten, I never thought the series would persevere this long but it is still going strong. Like the other books in the MOTS series, we find that what people believe is normal does not apply and that soulmates have this funny way of finding each other.

---

In Girl Next Door, we get to see the story of one of Penny Franklin's twin daughters, Brandye, and her next door neighbor, Robin, the blind artist we saw in Progeny.

We get to watch as these two are drawn together to become the best of friends. They become such a part of each others lives that neither even realizes that it is beyond friendship. Eveyone around them know that the two women were destined to be together. But between, Branye's view that every relationship is doomed to fail, and Robin's internal insecurity, they can never acknowledge it to each other.

Over the years they grow even closer together, but will their insecurities and Brandye's secret project tear the two apart?

---

The message behind this book is simply that there is someone out there for everyone, sometimes they are standing right in front of you and you don't even realize it. Plus, just like in Progeny, the other message is that you can't find a better friend than June Harris-West!

The cadence of this book was much different than my other MOTS books. It took years for the flame to ignite as the romance was on a slow simmer for three years. But Brandye's overture of love in the end took Robin, and the world by surprise.

I love my awesome readers, they were snapping up copies before I had time to post about it. I'm also excited to share the next book in the MOTS series with you soon, June, featuring none other than June herself as she says goodbye to Seattle and hello to the most unexpected chapter of her life. It will come out following the next book in the Drakon series, Dragonfall.

As I always do, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept cornbread and chili.

There is a sneak peek chapter of the second book in my Drakon series, Dragonfall, at the end of the book. I can't wait to share the next adventure of that fiery redheaded Irish woman, Myra, and her staunch protector Quinn!

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Girl Next Door. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

Valkyrie Chronicles: Seventy Two Hours

My fourth Valkyrie Chronicles book is published!

On May 19, 2014 my eBook, Seventy Two Hours, was added at Amazon.com! Of course, print on demand paperbacks are available too! It was like lightning had struck the moment the book went live, fans were snapping it up left and right! I challenge any other author to say they have fans as awesome as mine!

I may be obsessive compulsive, so I'll begin with talking about this new book before I give an overview of the storyline like I always do. I departed from my normal story flow with this one and started with a shocking event, then told the tale of what led up to it.

This book is the fourth book to reside in the Valkyrie Chronicles universe. This book punctuates the question... What would you do to keep the people you love safe? Is there any sacrifice too great?

---

In Seventy Two Hours, we start with a shocking event that can change the fate of Valhalla. Then we rewind seventy two hours to discover the events that led up to that very moment in time. Then continues on to highlight how the Asgard and the other races react to it and raise above it to become something more than the sum of their parts.

We get to see further evolutions of the Asgard nanites and the sentient wind riders like Pegasus, and the new roles they play in this new era.

Kara leads the Valkyrie against the most frightening race in the galaxy, the Frost Giants. This new enemy makes the Ragnarok threat look like child's play. How do you defeat an enemy who cannot be damaged? And just what are the Three Embers hiding from Valhalla?

Events force Kara to go beyond anything she has to this point and become the Demon that the Ragnarok belived her to be.

---

The message behind this book is simply that a parent would do anything for their children and the ones they love. Anyone standing in the way of that will learn the folly of their ways, especially if the person they are blocking is a Valkyrie.

My fans are simply the best there is, I am continually amazed by them. The moment I submitted this new book on Amazon, it started to sell.

As I always do, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept oatmeal raisin cookies.

At the end of the book is a sneak peek at the next Music of the Soul book, Girl Next Door. I think this will be an exciting addition to the MOTS series.

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Seventy Two Hours. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

Progeny

My ninth Music of the Soul book is published!

On April 16, 2014 my eBook, Progeny, was added at Amazon.com! Of course, print on demand paperbacks are available as well! I almost couldn't keep track of how fast my awesome readers were grabbing copies the moment Amazon listed the book! This proves to me that I have the best readers ever!

Being a creature of habit, I'll begin with a little talk about this new book before I give an overview of the storyline. The main characters in this emotional romance are strong women who fall prey to misunderstandings and misreading situations. Thier love for each other and thier great friends help get them back on track.

This book is the ninth book to reside in the Music of the Soul universe. Like all of the other books in the MOTS series, we find that what people believe is normal does not apply. Normal is the differences that bring us irresistibly together and make us all stronger.

---

In Progeny, we get to witness the epic meeting between Samantha Roth and Abbey Jacobs. But we quickly learn it was not that fairytale beginning we all believed. In fact, Sammie took an instant dislike to Abbey, but couldn't help but feel an underlying attraction.

A senior at the Art Academy takes them under her wing. She is none other than June Harris-West! Daughter to Many Fay Harris and Congresswoman Anabella West! She becomes their wise(ass) guru and mentor who leads them through the chaotic storm of heartbreak and love.

Everyone knew that Abbey and Sammie were destined to be together except the two insecure girls themselves. Now if only everyone could get them to listen!

---

The message behind this book is simply "Take a Chance", you never know what wonders await unless you take the journey. Don't let others define you and never make assumptions, things aren't always as they seem. Plus, on a fun note, the other message is that you can't find a better friend than June!

My readers are simply awesome, there isn't a better word to describe them. The instant I published this new addition to the series, it started selling. I am so very excited to share the next book in the MOTS series with you soon, Girl Next Door, featuring Penny Franklin's twins and an exciting new character, Robin! It will come out following the next book in the Valkyrie Chronicles series, Seventy Two Hours.

As I always do, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept stuffed platypus.

There is a sneak peek chapter of the fourth book in my Valkyrie Chronicles series, Seventy Two Hours, at the end of the book. It may upset some fans of the series, but I promise, the story will be worth it and the ending will be beyond epic!

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Progeny. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

Books on Audio!

I have been working to make my books more accessible over the past few months. One of the projects has been getting my books converted to audio books.

At first it looked overwhelming and far outside of my budget as quality vocal talent charges between $100-200 per hour to narrate. It is well deserved as it is a difficult and technical task to do it correctly. But that unfortunately means $1,400-2,000 per book to produce.

You can see my dilemma, with 13 published books so far and at least that many in the works, the price tag was staggering. $18,200-26,000 just for my existing books. That's a lot out of pocket up front. But I ran across the ACX program by Amazon. They pair up producers with authors and have a royalty sharing plan that allows you to have a book produced by amazing voice talents for no cash outlay up front. Instead, the producer receives 50% of the author's royalties on sales of the audiobook.

So I pounced on the opportunity and have two awesome voice talents producing my audio books!

Pamela Lorence is currently producing the books in the Music of the Soul series, and Hollie Jackson is producing all of my my SciFi and paranormal series... Valkyrie Chronicles, Fracture, and Drakon!

The best news yet is that The first books in the Music of the Soul series and the Valkyrie Chronicles series have just been released on Amazon, Audible, and iTunes!

You can get Music of the Soul on audio at the following locations...
Amazon.com
Audible.com
iTunes coming soon!

You can get Valkyrie Chronicles: Return of the Asgard on audio at the following locations...

Drakon: Awakening

My first book in the Drakon series, Awakening, is published!

On March 14, 2014 my new eBook, Drakon: Awakening, was published at Amazon.com! Of course print on demand paperbacks are live as well! I posted it at close to midnight and even then, my awesome loyal readers were grabbing copies!

Keeping with my self imposed tradition, I'll begin by talking a bit about this new book before I give an overview of the story itself. The main character in this book and her protector are taken on a ride down the rabbit hole into a paranormal world of magic, elementals, and dragons.

This book is the first book to take place in the Drakon universe. It is a twist on the legends of dragons that have popped up around the world. What would happen if you found out that you were one of those dragons of legend? We follow Myra as she answers that question and more.

---

In Drakon: Awakening we follow Doctor Myra Myra O'Connell as she is awarded a research grant to study the Fire Stone and scrolls associated with the legend of Saint George the Dragon Slayer. Not long after she starts to develop extraordinary abilities after an attempt on her life. Myra slowly comes to the realization that she is one of the legends she is studying, she herself is a dragon!

A woman, Special Agent Quinn Trask, is assigned to protect her from a madman who is killing researchers across the globe. Myra and her team of researchers work furiously to find answers while hiding Myra's abilities from the world.

When her hand is forced, to defend not only the people of Denver but the people she loves, Myra must show her dragon in an epic battle against one of the most powerful magic users that had ever existed.

---

The romance is a gentle undercurrent to this jaunt into fantasy and the paranormal. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into folklore and fantasy as we follow the adventures of Myra, Queen of the Dragons.

My readers are simply the best in the universe, there isn't any other way to describe how fantastic they are. Once I published the first book in this new series, they started flying off the shelf. I am excited to share the next book in the Drakon series, Dragonfall in a few months.

And as always, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept jelly donuts.

There is a sneak peek chapter of the ninth book in my Music of the Soul series, Progeny, at the end of the book. When Samantha Roth meets Abbey Jacobs in college, she dislikes her off the bat. But quickly learns that maybe she shouldn't jump to conclusions so quickly.

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Drakon: Awakening. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

Syncopated Rhythm

My eighth Music of the Soul book is published!

On February 14, 2014 my eBook, Syncopated Rhythm, was added at Amazon.com! Print on demand paperbacks are live too! People were snapping it up within minutes of its posting! The first reviews stated coming in less than eight hours later from my awesome readers!

As always, I will start by talking a little about this new book before I get into an overview of the storyline. The main characters in this emotional romance are strong but flawed women who find that no obstacle is insurmountable when love is involved.

This book is the eighth book to take place in the Music of the Soul universe. Like the other books in the MOTS series, we find that most people's definition of normal does not apply. Why be 'normal' when you can be so much more?

---

In Syncopated Rhythm, we get to see the story of Amber LaLanie from Karaoke Queen. She has been the pop princess of fun and energetic songs for a decade now, yet oddly empty inside.

She doesn't handle her self imposed isolation within the sea of people around her well. Silence is her enemy and has to have sound around her at all times. She harbors a secret about herself that she is scared to show to the world.

But then Kylee comes along and turns her world upside down. A production intern for Art in Motion Studios, she has a way of drawing out the Amber that is hidden away inside in her own quirky, geek girl style. Amber feels herself drawn to Kylee's inner light like a moth to a flame.

---

The message behind this book is simply "Be yourself", don't be what other people expect of you, that can only cause pain and heartache. Everyone is special and should proudly display that to the world.

My readers rock, there is no other way to describe how awesome they are. As soon as I published this new addition to the series, it started selling. I am excited to share the next book in the MOTS series with you soon, Progeny, featuring Samantha and Abbey! It will come out following the first book in my new series, Drakon.

Of course, as always, I want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept apple danishes.

There is a sneak peek chapter of the first book in my Drakon series, Awakening, at the end of the book. Doctor Myra O'Connell is a mythology researching as she starts developing the abilities of a dragon... then all hell breaks loose.

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Syncopated Rhythm. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

Valkyrie Chronicles Audio Books!

I just started a KickStarter campaign to convert the Valkyrie Chronicles series to Audio Books!

I want to share my stories with people who enjoy listening to audio books on the way to work, people with learning or physical disabilities who find reading difficult or impossible, and people who simply prefer audio to the written word.

I was shocked at the cost of professional audio book production and knew I would never be able to accomplish it without the help of my awesome readers and fans!

Help spread the word and hopefully we can bring Kara, Kate, Inatra, Arina, Freya, Talia and the rest to life!

Valkyrie Chronicles: Folkvangr

Folkvangr is published!

On January 17, 2014 my eBook, The Valkyrie Chronicles: Folkvangr, was added at Amazon.com! Print on demand paperbacks are live too! Before I even had a chance to make this post, copies were already flying off the digital shelf. I have the best readers in Valhalla and Heildfine! I love all of you!

Holding to my lame tradition, I'll babble a bit about this book before I give you an overview of the story. This SciFi book has some lesbian overtones just like Return of the Asgard and Bloodlines did. The Asgard race are not as hung up on gender as we humans are.

This book is the third book in the Valkyrie Chronicles series. The Vikings and their Norse Mythology has always been fascinated me, especially the Valkyrie and the legend of Ragnarock. This is a continuation of my "What if we just didn't understand at the time." concept of the Asgard and their technology.

I try to keep this basic thread going throughout the series while reintroducing Norse mythology concepts in a different light. What if the legends were all just the stories of actual happenings that were interpreted the best way they could understand by the Norse people. What if the Asgard race were so far technologically advanced that it appeared to be magic to the people of Earth at the time? What if the Valkyrie were the only line of defense against an invading alien race?

---

In Folkvangr, the book is narrated by the main character, Kara, for the most part, at times Freya gives her point of view. It tells of a permanent Asgard colony, Saellifor, being settled on Earth now that humans have risen to technical parity with the Ragnarok. Kara and the rest of the Asgard prepare for Transition away from Earth and to the planet Folkvangr which has been overrun by Ragnarok, and the Vanger people wiped out or enslaved by the occupiers.

Meanwhile Kara's aunt, Freya, wages a battle against the Ragnarok on Folkvangr for the very survival of the Vanger race. Will she be able to hold the line using trickery, subterfuge and cobbled together, patchwork technology, until the Valkyrie can arrive?

Unexpected alliances are forged and a new type of Valkyrie is born... the Valkfela!

The storyline for this continuation of the Valkyrie Chronicles series came at me so fast it was like being hit by the power of Thor lancing from Kara's fingertips. I am excited to put out my third SciFi novel. I am quite happy to see that the Valkyrie Chronicles' fanbase is growing in leaps and bounds. As in the first two books of the series, I did include a couple LGBT romance sub plots in the book for my Music of the Soul readers. I can't wait to hear the reactions from my readers. As always, it may not be as polished or professional as other authors, but that's how I write. I really believe this was a story worth sharing and I hope you find it to be a story worth reading.

If this book is as well received as the first two, I will start writing the fourth book in the series. "Seventy Two Hours"

And as always, I want to let my readers know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative.

I'd be excited to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Folkvangr. I'd love to discuss the story with you!
