Valkyrie Chronicles: Bloodlines

Bloodlines is published!

On September 20, 2013 my eBook, The Valkyrie Chronicles: Bloodlines, was added at Amazon.com! Print on demand paperbacks are live too! Before I even had a chance to make this post, the first copies had already sold. What can I say? I have the best readers in Valhalla! I love you all!

As always, I'll say a little bit about this book before I get into an overview of the story with you. This SciFi book has some lesbian overtones just like Return of the Asgard did. The Asgard race are not as hung up on gender as we humans are.

This book is the second book in the Valkyrie Chronicles series. Norse Mythology has always been intriguing to me, especially the Valkyrie and the legend of Ragnarock. This is a continuation of my "What if we just didn't understand." concept of the Asgard.

That is the premise of this series remains the same. What if the legends were all just the stories of actual happenings that were interpreted the best way they could understand by the Norse people. What if the Asgard race were so far technologically advanced that it appeared to be magic to the people of Earth at the time? What if the Valkyrie were the only line of defense against an invading alien race?

In Bloodlines, the book is narrated by the main character, Kara, for the most part. It tells of a weakness of the Valkyrie sight and a saboteur in the ranks of the Asgard people in Valhalla. It has cast doubt and suspicion on anything new. Kara, Kate, Arina and an unlikely Ally race against time to find who is behind the acts of sabotage before time runs out for Valhalla.

Arina copes with being a new type of Valkyrie and defies Odin while reminding the ruling caste what the ideals of the Asgard are and what they should all aspire to be. She must help a young Ragnarok, who was sent to die at the gates of Valhalla, to learn the truth about the Asgard and her own people.

Old enemies and lost friends weave a web that could spell the end for one of Odin's own.

It took a couple weeks to develop the plot and write the continuation of the Valkyrie Chronicles series. I am excited to put out my second SciFi novel. I was happy to find that Valkyrie Chronicles is gathering a large fan base. As in the first book of the series, I did include a couple LGBT romance sub plots in the book for my Music of the Soul readers. I can't wait to see the reactions from my readers. As always, it may not be as polished or professional as other authors, but that's how I write. I really believe this was a story worth sharing and I hope you find it to be a story worth reading.

If this book is as well received as the first, I will start writing the third book in the series.

As I always do, I want to let my readers know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative.

I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Bloodlines. I'd love to discuss the story with you!
