Rose: Briar's Thorn

On September 21, 2015 my eBook, Rose: Briar's Thorn, was added at Amazon.com! Print on demand paperbacks are also available there!

I have really enjoyed writing about the women in the Urban Fairytales series, and Rose is no exception. This is Sleeping Beauty as you have never seen her before. Without the ability to even share a touch with another human, she is more like an observer looking in, than actually participating in life.

This book starts at the same point that Ella: Cinders and Ash left off, at the gates of Seattle. The four Avatars have finally met up after all these centuries.

---

Rose can barely remember when she had been human and what it meant to actually be happy. It was so long ago that she could actually share a simple touch with another person, another living being.

Shunning his advances, she is cursed by a man who would one day become one of the evil werewolf Alphas, Alister Marcus. Rose wanders the world for all of time, always looking in but never a part of it. Her touch is death to any living thing, and the black magics of the briars and thorny vines in her heart make sure that she can never die, so that she can live in eternal suffering.

When Rose finally finds love again, she saves her from certain death, only to curse her with an endless sleep. So Rose wanders the world again, striking at evil from the shadows, fighting to protect the very people that have branded her a monster and Mother Death.

Now she stands with the other women of lore, against an enemy so great, that even the Scales of fate believe the world will descend into chaos if they do not win the battle that is to come.

---

The women of this series are amazing individuals with amazing power. But that power is nothing without the other half of their hearts to balance them. We get to see this first hand, each time one makes the connection with their soulmates.

My fans are far beyond awesome, there isn't a word to describe how great they really are! As always, I want you all to know how much I love and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept nuts and berries like Conrad.
I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Rose. I would simply love to discuss the story with you!

London Harmony: Small Fry

The fourth London Harmony book is published!

On August 22, 2015 my eBook, London Harmony: Small Fry, was added at Amazon.com! And of course, I have also have print on demand paperbacks available as well!

London Harmony is a spinoff series of my bestselling romance series, Music of the Soul. It follows June Harris-West and her unorthodox family as they discover musical talent in London. Handing out the J-Cards that have become an urban legend in the underground music community. Each book features the story of one of these spectacular women.

This is fourth book of the series, Small Fry. It follows Francine Brighton (Small Fry) as she tries to figure out just who she is and what her place in the world is as she attends her freshman year in college.

Like the books in the Music of the Soul and London Harmony series, each book can be read as standalone stories but all exist in the same world. Minor crossovers occur. ---

Franis a young woman trying to discover just who she is, and what her place in the world is as she starts her freshman year of college.

She finds a kindred soul in a woman, Natasha, who has an affliction that effects how she interacts with people. Natasha harbors another secret that Fran is intimately familiar with.

When a person has dropped so low that the only currency they have left is their pride... even the littlest thing can cause an insurmountable rift.

Luckily for Fran, her new sister, June Harris-West, scoffs at the mere concept of the word insurmountable.

---

The message behind this book is simply that even when you are confused about what to do, you cannot fail if you just follow your heart. And it isn't always what we see that makes up all that a person is.

There is no getting around it, my readers simply rock! My MOTS fans again demonstrate that they support the new London Harmony series that is written in the Music of the Soul style. Hours after I published, Small Fry made it on the bestseller lists on Amazon, and became the number 1 bestseller in its genre in Canada and hit number four and climbing in the USA.

I really have no words for the appreciation I have for my super platypus awesome fans. And I want all of you to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept partially hydrogenated bacon.
I'd love to hear feedback from YOU about the story and characters of Small Fry. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

Ella: Cinders and Ash

EEEP! Sorry for the tardiness of this post, I thought I had already put it u[p weeks ago. The third book in the Urban Fairytales series, Ella: Cinders and Ash is published!

On July 22, 2015 my eBook, Ella: Cinders and Ash, was added at Amazon.com! And as always I always make sure of, print on demand paperbacks are also available there!

I had far too much fun throwing this modern twist on the story of Cinderella. This is the darkest origin story in the Urban Fairtales thus far, but Ella is by far the most fun of the characters to write.

This book begins shortly after the events in Snow: The White Crow. Parker Devareau, in a chance meeting, teams up with a mysterious woman, Ella, who seems to be a few fries short of a happy meal. They begin the most complex relationship in the series.

---

Drawn to Seattle by the pull of black magics, Ella brings her wrath. A trail of blood and violence left in her wake.

By chance, Parker Devareau, meets Ella while rushing home to get behind the safety of her Full Moon Bars on a full moon night. Parker can see, hear and feel things that no ordinary person can.

When Ella saves Parker from a breach of the protective city walls caused by the druids, Parker sees something beyond the impression of a schizophrenic with multiple personalities who is constantly talking to someone who is not there. And the truth breaks her heart.

The women stand together with the Red Hood and Gretta Snow to save the people of the city who perceive them all as monsters.

---

There is one more story in the Urban Fairytales series left to tell, Rose: Briar's Thorn. Rose is modeled after the story of sleeping beauty. Her touch is poison and her love is worse.

There isn't an author that has better fans than me! As always, want you all to know that I love you and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept transdimensional transport tokens.
I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Ella. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

Techromancy Scrolls: Adept

The first volume of the epic Techromancy Scrolls series, Adept, is published!

On July 18, 2015 my eBook, Techromancy Scrolls: Adept, was added at Amazon.com! And as always I always do, I also have print on demand paperbacks available!

This has been a secret side project I started a few months back and has become one of the most amazing experiences in my writing career! This story not only became an epic adventure, but it was also an epic undertaking. Not only did I create a whole new world, but I also made it an Open World, where other Authors are free to submit stories in that world as well. I created a website to not only enhance the reader's experience, but also as a resource for other authors. www.TechromancyScrolls.com

This book is unlike any of my prior books, not only in size (Over 112,000 words) but in scope was well. I hope you, my readers, can feel the richness of the characters and environment of the epic swords and sorcery meets steampunk world.

---

The book follows a simple commoner in Wexbury Keep, Laney Herder, three thousand years after a natural disaster wiped out most life on Earth. It chronicles her struggles to run her family chicken farm, and utilizing her meager magical talents, she goes scavenging outside the walls of the keep to buy medicines for her ailing mother.

She meets a Knight of the Realm, Lady Celeste, and her world gets turned upside down. She finds herself thrust into the world of nobles, knights, and magic, among the Techromancers and Techno Knights she has always idolized.

Laney stands at the side of her Knight to face the greatest threat to the realms that her generation has seen. They struggle to prevent the second Great Mage War.

A tale of Mountain Gypsies, Rogues, Marauders, and Knights. Can kindness and innocence stop the oncoming storm?

---

The next book in the series, Soras, will be out in winter of 2015.

I have the most awesome fans and readers in the seventeen known dimensions! I continue to want my readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept Bulgarian Kilts in a size 34.
I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Adept. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

London Harmony: Roctoberfest

The third London Harmony book is published!

On June 19, 2015 my eBook, London Harmony: Roctoberfest, was added at Amazon.com! And of course, I have also made print on demand paperbacks available as well!

London Harmony is a spinoff series of my bestselling romance series, Music of the Soul. It follows June Harris-West and her unorthodox family as they discover musical talent in London. Handing out the J-Cards that have become an urban legend in the underground music community. Each book features the story of one of these spectacular women.

This is third book of the series, Roctoberfest. It follows Kacy Green as she decides to stake her claim in her adult life. And Mei Hammond as she starts living again after hiding herself away after a horrific accident.

Like the books in the Music of the Soul series, each book can be read as standalone stories but all exist in the same world. Minor crossovers occur. ---

Kacy is tired of living like a teenager, crashing at various friends places for the past ten years. She had run away when she was 15 due to a bad situation with her family. Her band took her in and have taken turns allowing her to stay with them. Kacy has decided to take responsibility for her own life and is in search of a flat of her own.

Her band, The Purple Horseshoes, enters a battle of the bands competition, Roctoberfest, sponsored by London Harmony... in hopes of landing jobs as professional musicians as the record label's house band.

When their lead guitarist defects to another band, Kacy and her unorthodox family go in search of a new lead guitarist to finish the competition with. What Kacy finds instead is a love like none she had ever known, in a woman, Mei, who has suffered tragedy and is struggling to stay afloat in her new life.

---

The message behind this book is simply that what is on the outside doesn't matter, it is what is on the inside that makes us strong. And that love comes in all shapes and sizes.

There is no doubt that I have the best readers ever! My MOTS fans continue to show that they are behind the new London Harmony series that is so much in the Music of the Soul vein. Hours after I published, Roctoberfest made it on the bestseller lists on Amazon, number four and climbing.

I really have no words for the appreciation I have for my fans. And I want all of you to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept partially invisible alligators watching kitty videos on YouTube.
I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Roctoberfest. (One word... Mick.) I'd love to discuss the story with you!

This Sucks
by Erik Schubach

Violet is mostly a vampire, sort of. He neighbor tried to turn her to save her life after a car accident, only, it didn't take. This story follows her through her misadventures of her and her best friend Cindy learning just what kind of cut-rate bloodsucker she really was.

Of course all sorts of hilarity ensues and hamster thralls are made, but Violet winds up finding the happiness and love she had wanted for so long.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

About Erik Schubach
I got my start writing romance novels by accident. I have always been drawn to strong female characters in books, like Honor Harrington. And I also believe that there is a lack of LGBT characters in media. So one day I came up with a story idea that combines the two... two days later I completed the manuscript for Music of the Soul.

My writing style may not be the most professional nor grammatically correct, but I never profess to be an English major, just a person that wants to share a story. I maintain that my primary language is sarcasm.

Each of my books features strong likeable female characters that are flawed. I think that flaws and emotional or physical scars make us human and give us more character than simply conforming to some "social norm".

Snow: The White Crow

The second book in the Urban Fairytales series, Snow: The White Crow is published!

On May 16, 2015 my eBook, Snow: The White Crow, was added at Amazon.com! And as always, print on demand paperbacks are also available!

It was far too much fun giving the story of Red Riding Hood into a modern twist. It was equally as fun to reexamine the fairytale of Snow White with this new book.

This book picks up eighteen months after Red Hood, in the same world where a third of the world's population are cursed to become mindless killing beasts, werewolves, on the full moon. Only this time we see it from the perspective of being outside the walled cities during a full moon. Gretta prefers to live in the forests to be close to nature as she travels the world, righting the balance between good and evil.

---

Gretta Snow is a Recovery Specialist. A Wolf Hunter who specializes in locating people outside the gates of the walled cities. She locates infected family members of Clean Bloods and helps them reunite outside the city gates. Or frees people in kidnapping and hostage situations. She has traveled the world for centuries, using her abilities to commune with nature and animals to assist her in battling dark magics.

Rachel Paige at her side, she stands with the Red Hood and her hellhound against some of the darkest gypsy witches the world has seen in centuries.

All is not as it seems and a conspiracy spanning centuries is slowly revealed... leaving more questions than answers. ---

I'm continuing to release a new Urban Fairytale book every two months, the next being based on Cinderella, Ella: Cinders and Ash. She's not sugar and spice as she burns a swath of death and destruction through the ranks of dark magic users in the world.

I have the best readers in the super platypus universe! I continue to want you all to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept Antarctican cheese models of the sphinx.
I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Snow. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

London Harmony: Feel the Beat

The second London Harmony book is published!

On April 17, 2015 my eBook, London Harmony: Feel the Beat, was added at Amazon.com! As I always do, I have also made print on demand paperbacks available as well!

London Harmony is a spinoff series of my bestselling romance series, Music of the Soul. It follows June Harris-West and her unorthodox family as they discover musical talent in London. Handing out the J-Cards that have become an urban legend in the underground music community. Each book features the story of one of these spectacular women.

This is second book of the series, Feel the Beat, follows Abigail Addison as she makes her way through the world, sharing her musical gift through street performing in the art district of London, Covent Garden.

Like the books in the Music of the Soul series, each book can be read as standalone stories but all exist in the same world. Minor crossovers occur. ---

Abigail suffers from two conditions that allow her to experience the world around her in such a unique manner that she can literally see and feel the music surround her.

On a chance meeting at a music repair shop, she meets a tinker, Isabelle, who is unlike anyone she has ever met. Together, they work to get Abi's unorthodox music noticed.

After a near tragedy, they discover that unbeknown to them, she already had. ---

The message behind this book is simply that when you least expect it, you can stumble into your dreams, finding love and success in the things that bring you the most joy.

Hands down, I have the best readers in the known universe! My MOTS fans have proven that they are behind the new London Harmony series that has so much Music of the Soul flavor. Hours after I published, Feel the Beat made it on the bestseller lists on Amazon and the numbers are reaching for the stars.

Because I think they are so awesome, I want all of my awesome readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept really short ostriches on hoverboards.
I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Feel the Beat. I'd love to discuss the story with you!

Red Hood: The Hunt

The first book in the Urban Fairytales series, Red Hood: The Hunt is published!

On March 12, 2015 my eBook, Red Hood: The Hunt, was added at Amazon.com! Plus as always, print on demand paperbacks are available too!

I've loved twisting myths and legends in a few of my SciFi and Paranormal series Like the Valkyrie Chronicles, Drakon, and The Bridge, so I got to thinking. What if I do a series of twisted fairytales with a modern, urban fantasy spin on them. A re-imagining of them in an exciting format.

This premiere book of the series, Red Hood: The Hunt, takes place where a third of the world's population are cursed to become mindless killing beasts, werewolves, on the full moon. It shows how the modern world copes with it and the people who defend those not yet infected by the lycan contagion in walled cities.

---

Detective Daria McQueen is a homicide detective most of the time, until the moon is full. Three nights a month she stands at the gates with the rest of the Seattle police department to defend it against the packs of ravening werewolves intent on killing the Clean Blood humans in the city. Daria has a unique perspective, when she was a small child, she watched her family killed in front of her and her sister infected by the curse, while she sat in the panic-cage in their house.

She discovers a breach of the wall while on perimeter patrol and saves a family from three werewolves. Daria winds up being saved from a fate worse than death by a Wolf Hunter in a billowing red cloak. Someone she believed to be nothing but an urban legend. The Red Hood, Maireni Damaschin. The mysterious woman seems to possess inhuman abilities and seems wolf-like herself.

They are pulled into a tangled web of deception that goes back centuries, which could spell the end to Clean Bloods and throw the world into servitude. ---

I'm planning to release a new Urban Fairytale book every couple months, the next being based on Snow White, Snow: The White Crow.

I have the best readers in the universe! I want to throw out a special thanks to my beta readers on this one. It is a darker and grittier writing style so I needed people to look over it for me before I released it.

I want all of my super platypus awesome readers to know that I love them and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept surfboards made of cheese.
I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Red Hoody. I'd love to discuss the story with you!
