Lesbian Fiction Appreciation Event 2016

Hi everyone! I'm happy to be part of the Lesbian Fiction Appreciation Event 2016!

KT Grant asked me to talk a little about self-publishing and why I chose it over other publishing venues. I added in a quick overview of the self-publishing process for aspiring authors.

You can read my post here.

Let Down Your Hair

On January 20, 2016 my eBook, Let Down Your Hair, was added at Amazon.com! And as always, print on demand paperbacks are also available there!

This was a new concept in the Urban Fairytales series since it follows a past Avatar instead of being in modern times with Parker reading the journal of Rapunzel. This is Rapunzel in her own words. She's not a damsel in distress, instead she is one of the deadliest witch hunters in all the realms.

This book starts a year after the events in Rose: Briar's Thorn and the Avatars find a satchel full of journals from prior Avatars that the Grimm Brothers accidentally left behind. They all settle in at Parker's apartment in Seattle to listen to the tale of Rapunzel.

---

Rapunzel had spent her first sixteen years of her life, being held in captivity by the black witch, Dame Gothel, in order for the witch to discover why the girl was immune to all black magic.

When she finally escapes, she finds herself in a world she didn't understand because of her captivity. But the one thing Rapunzel knows is that she will hunt down Dame Gothel and make sure she can never harm another innocent ever again.

The game of cat and mouse goes on for years, and Rapunzel's fighting prowess only grows as she battles all dark magic users that would do innocents harm.

Her life is turned inside out after a chance meeting with a brash and headstrong house maid, Evelyn, who tackles over her tower and her heart. Rapunzel never stood a chance.

Together they take on the most vile witch of their time.

---

Each of the women of this series are amazing individuals and Rapunzel is no exception. She is balanced by the compassion of Evelyn, and her ability to remind Rapunzel that there is more to life than hunting witches.

I have the most platypus awesome fans, there are no words to demonstrate how great they really are! As always, I want you all to know how much I love and appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. I also accept trays of chocolate eclairs.
I'd love to hear feedback and discussion from YOU about the characters in Let Down Your Hair. I would really enjoy discussing the story with you!
